The Golden Pancake was great. I loved that the place doesn't serve pprk as I dont eat any pork. I can order food and not worry about pork bacon being put on my sandwich and then the staff taking it off. Then they lie about it but I can clearly see that bacon was on the sandwich. The server was good. She greeted us with a warm smile. She assured us that she will be back. She didn't check on us enough. I had to catch her in order to get a refill and to get a condiment for the food. She was very nice though. The food was great. It is a quiet place. At least it was when I was there. It was also busy. They have plenty of parking, yet the lot was full. The decor wasn't a h7ge deal. It reminds of a Dennys with kosher or Halal food. If you don't eat pork give this place a try.Yiu get a good meal at an affordable price.
Meat lovers omelet is FANTASTIC! I was a little hesitant about turkey bacon, turkey sausage & turkey ham, but it was excellent. One of the best omelets I've ever had. And HUGE

First and forever customer. Food and service were fast even for a Saturday morning. The staffed seemed happy and well equipped to handle the crowds. The pancakes are just what dream of and the eggs are perfectly cooked. All meat is chicken or turkey. Turkey sausage and turkey ham was delicious too
Chose this place because it was handy. We had a party of 7 for breakfast. Good seating. Friendly welcome. Good basic menu but a plus for us is they offer turkey bacon, sausage, and ham. Perfect. Everything we ordered was top notch. The omelets are huge. My chicken omelet came we a serious helping of chicken and cheese. The pancakes were fluffy and lots of varieties. Nice service. It's so convenient for when we visit St Louis we all agreed we'd come back here for our breakfast again.
This restaurant was delicious. The chicken from my chicken melt was juicy and flavorful I loved how well seasoned it was. My husband loved the patty melt as well he said was really good. The cheese sticks were not frozen they looked as if they make them as people ask for them. The service was phenomenal everyone is really nice and attentive. This was our last stop here in St. Louis as we're heading to the airport it's really close by. Really loved the food here.
Now let me tell you here this place was top tier quality food good southern hospitality and the vibe was the best. Service was so good it's crazy. They don't serve pork and that turkey was delicious. That French toast tasted cooked and than deep fried it was so delicious I would have took a finger off trying get a bite...eggs with cheese on top scrambled soft man this is the place to go stop by
The food was delicious and fresh. The omelet was loaded with tons of meat and spinach. The pancakes were soft, fluffy and cooked to perfection. I was disappointed that since they sell both breakfast and lunch, i was only able to choose from the breakfast menu. I watched others get their food and they had ordered lunch menu items. (I'm assuming they were short staffed). The server was polite and very hard working. I'd give her 5 stars. The inside is dated, but they added new modern light fixtures. There's plenty of parking and this establishment is located close to the highway. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. The food did not disappoint.
Stopped by Golden Pancake for the first time as we were just up the road in Overland doing some shopping. It can be a little overwhelming at first, walking into a very large place that just says seat yourself, which is more typical of smaller diners. We were greeted fairly quickly by a friendly server. I ordered the ultimate omelette with the pancakes, and my companion got the turkey melt. The omelette was fresh and tasty, and the pancakes were fluffy and light. The turkey melt had just a tinge of heat from the pepper jack cheese. Overall both dishes were well executed, and we were happy with our choices. We are planning a return trip to try out the pancake flight, which looked quite appetizing as well.
Great addition to the area! They rebhabbed an old Chinese Buffet restaurant and inside had a breakfast vibe. It's weird that a Breakfast place is sooo Huge but it works well! Don't be afraid of the line, it moves pretty fast (because of the amount of tables and staff). All the standard breakfast faire was excellent. Pancakes fluffy and apple cinnamon topping sweet and delicious. I loved that they actually have Turkey sausage and other meats on the menu and they weren't "extra add ons".
